City Chic Wedding

Whilst taking a stroll through the Boboli Gardens of Florence, Andrew begun his proposal speech and before you know it, he was on one knee asking for Julie’s hand in marriage. Of course she said yes!

The wedding ceremony took place in Brisbane with sweeping views of the Brisbane River and city. The funniest moment for Julie and Andrew was during their traditional Tea Ceremony. Julie had explained “The Bride and Groom serve their elders tea in return for a red pocket to the newlyweds. During our tea ceremony, we were serving tea to Andrew’s grandfather. When it was time for him to give us the red pocket, he refused! Due to his slight dementia he thought we were trying to steal money from him.”

Julie’s advice to future Brides & Grooms is to “Stress Less – Plan your wedding for you and your partner, not anyone else”. Photography – Captured by ABIA Awarded Luke Middlemiss Photography To view all vendors, see bottom of the page for a full list.
