Picture this. You stand excitedly at the altar, awaiting that first glimpse of your true love. They appear down the aisle, and you hear... violins! This isn't a scene from a movie, or a lyric from a love song, this is Briar String Quartet bringing all the magical music feels to your wedding day!
Music helps to set the tone and make your special day even more memorable. Whether it be a romantic ballad to accompany you down the aisle, or a joyous tune to announce you as a newly married couple, we have the perfect song to celebrate each moment. From Bach to Beyonce - we play it all!

Every time I play, I am reminded of the butterflies I felt in my very first cello lesson. After studying the piano and flute for many years, it wasn't until I found the cello that I finally discovered the great musical love of my life. Fun fact! The actual love of my life (my husband) is also a cellist.
I named my beautiful 100-year old Czech cello, Costin, after the Prince Charming from a fairytale novel. Together we have travelled the world on study trips to Europe, Canada and the U.S.A, and opera tours across Asia. It was on an opera tour in 2015 that I met some talented, like-minded musicians and founded Briar String Quartet.
I've had the fairytale moment of a string quartet playing at my happily ever after, and would love to perform for yours.
