Naomi Wordsworth credits her dad’s home videos with sparking her interest, but admits it was a video montage she made of a trip to Everest Base Camp that set her on the path to wedding content creation and the establishment of Nayys Creative.
“It made me realise just how powerful video is in preserving memories and bringing us back to those unforgettable moments,” the Sunshine Coast-based content creator explains.
It inspired her desire to capture the smallest of details and behind-the-scenes moments of a wedding day, and deliver them all in an easy-share format for her couples to view almost immediately.
ABIA sat down with Naomi to find out more about her content creation approach, Fuji-film effects and passion for creating reels that her couples watch over and over again.

Tell us about your business and wedding content creation services
Nayys Creative is a wedding content creation service dedicated to capturing the raw, real and candid moments of a couple’s special day. I specialise in capturing the ‘in-between’ — the spontaneous laughter between poses, the quiet emotional exchanges, the beautiful chaos and the unscripted memories, so that they’re able to be relived forever.
My role goes beyond documenting the posed and polished and focusses on capturing everything that happens behind the scenes, offering a genuine reflection of the day through the little moments. But my job isn’t just about filming — it's about being there. I understand the rhythm of a wedding day, so I’ll happily fix a veil, pass a glass of champagne or do whatever it takes to help make my couple’s day smoother and more magical.
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
My experience in creating and capturing my own reels led me to my first job working for another content creation business. In that role I found my passion for capturing weddings and the special behind-the-scenes moments that are so precious. After learning and honing my skills, I started Nayys Creative.
Where are you based and what locations do you service?
I’m based on the Sunshine Coast and cater to the whole of Queensland. I’m also happy to travel interstate and overseas.
What got you interested in content creation?
Growing up, my dad filmed family vlogs on a VHS camera — totally candid, unscripted moments of us going about our daily lives. It’s from those home videos that I developed a love for preserving real moments. At 12, I was gifted my first camera and from that point on I couldn’t stop capturing memories.
The first reel I made was from my trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. It was a video montage of my journey. It made me realise just how powerful video is in preserving memories and bringing us back to those unforgettable moments. From travel reels I soon expanded to capturing birthday parties, hen’s parties and weddings for friends and family.

Wedding content creation is relatively new, how do you explain what you do to those unfamiliar with it?
In short, I use both my iPhone and Fuji film camera to capture everything — from the big wedding moments to the small, candid interactions — and deliver the unedited raw footage (typically more than 600 videos), as well as up to five fully-edited reels, to my couples within 24 hours. This means they get to relive their wedding the very next day and, as it’s all delivered in an easy-to-share format, they can share those special moments with family and friends right away.
The raw content looks like an entire camera roll of the wedding day, and includes full ceremony coverage, vows and speeches and all the candid clips that made the day unique.
Reels are edited to songs that hold meaning to the couple — cinematic, emotional or fun — and are intended to capture unforgettable feelings to be shared and relived again and again.
How do you feel content creation differs from traditional wedding photography and videography? How do you work alongside these other creatives?
Traditional videography gives that classic, timeless wedding film, while content creation brings a fresh, fast-paced perspective — capturing real-time, spontaneous moments that reflect the vibe of the day in a modern, shareable format — and there’s definitely a place for both services on the wedding day.
I provide highlight reels that capture the essence of the wedding day, packed into a shareable format that’s easy to post on social media and view again and again, and I'm all about collaboration. I’m there to complement the work of the photographer and videographer. While they capture the key moments in their own style, I focus on the dynamic, behind-the-scenes moments and real-time content that they might not be able to get. While they’re busy framing the perfect shot, I’m capturing the candid, emotional moments that couples might otherwise miss.
When working with photographers and videographers, I’m always careful to ensure that we develop a plan together so that we can all get the best results for our couple.
Do you offer packages? What are the inclusions?
I have four main packages that vary by coverage time — two-three hours, six hours, eight hours and 10-hours — so I can cater to every wedding situation from an intimate elopement to the grandest of weddings. All packages come with miked vows and speeches, a complete camera roll of every video taken on the day and three to five edited reels, tailored to the couple, all delivered within 24 hours. I film on both a Fuji film camera and iPhone, and I also offer 35mm film photos as an optional extra.
Where do you get your creative inspiration?
When I see special moments happening in front of me, it’s almost like I am envisioning them through a lens. Specific lights or simple tones, and the smaller details are what give me inspiration for the transitions in my edits and the way that I capture each moment.
I seek out the sentimental, and love to capture moments like that first glance from Mum or Dad, so that these instances can be remembered always. I also always listen to my couple’s song prior to their day, so that as I’m editing their reel it’s playing in my head.

What do you suggest couples look for in a content creator?
A couple should look first for a content creator whose style and aesthetic matches their own vision and then check their experience and compatibility with other vendors. It’s also a good idea to enquire about their equipment and firmly establish the types of content they provide and to look closely at their footage to gauge the quality and get an indication of their creativity. I always suggest talking to them too, to make sure you get on well and share a vibe.
How do you tailor your approach to different wedding styles?
I always take time to get to know my couples. I talk to them, listen to the music they love and learn about their love story and the people who matter most. This helps me understand their energy and ensures the content I capture and edit truly reflects their vibe. It’s all about making the content fit their story, because their wedding day is about them.

What trends are you seeing at the moment?
I’m loving how couples are embracing more freedom and personal style in their weddings. It’s all about creating a day that’s uniquely theirs. I’ve seen more interactive experiences like video guestbooks, games, champagne towers and even choreographed dances, which make the day feel even more special. Social trends like ‘first looks’, ‘private vows’ and ‘surprise weddings’ offer some great inspiration, but at the end of the day I always remind my couples that what matters most is that the wedding feels authentic and reflects their love.
What makes your wedding content creation service unique?
What sets my business apart is my insane passion for capturing every moment of a wedding day. It lights up my life, and being there to document the big moments and the raw, unscripted ones is what truly makes me happy. I’m never just filming, I’m fully immersed, offering support and capturing the real, authentic vibe of a day.
My services are completely tailorable to suit unique needs, like video guest books, and speeches and vows captured in full with microphones for crystal-clear audio.
I film on my phone, but also add a creative touch with my Fuji film camera, which captures raw footage with a different quality and light. I also offer the option of additional 35mm film photos for extra nostalgia. My aim is to capture each wedding day in the most personalised way, as I believe each one deserves to be remembered in detail.
