It was busking on the street that led Dario Zhang and Gary Fu to invitations to play at weddings, and eventually to begin their wedding entertainment business, which has grown to encompass the spectrum of musical offerings, from electric and classical instruments to vocals, bands and deejays.
“With our creative flair and exceptional skills, we ‘wow’ and entertain guests from the ceremony and canapes through to the reception,” Gary explains.
The musical maestros set aside their strings for a moment to talk electric instruments, tailored packages and their most popular wedding song requests.

At what point in their wedding planning should couples consider entertainment? And how far in advance should they book?
As soon as couples book the venue they should start looking into entertainment. We recommend booking entertainment at least six months in advance.
What styles of entertainment do you recommend for ceremonies and receptions?
For ceremonies we usually perform as a violin and cello duo, or as a trio with the addition of a piano. For receptions we usually replace the piano with a deejay. And a saxophone can be a fun addition, for couples after something a little ‘extra’.
