Tell us a little about Doux Wedding Corp.
Doux Wedding Corp started out as a service to help couples with their wedding Photography as well as adding a fun Photo Booth to your wedding reception!
We came about during a time where these services in the wedding industry weren't trusted by couples, as too many vendors were not delivering what they promised. So we set out to be one that keeps our word, offer a service as if each couple were our friends.
How many wedding couples have you serviced?
Over the years, we've done close to 1000+ wedding. We kind of lost count about 4-5 years in.
Um, that is amazing! Definitely put your trust in an experienced wedding photographer - ABIA.
Why should a couple book a professional Wedding Photographer?
The most important mission from your wedding day is to capture photographs to be some form of keepsake for you to remember, as your wedding is an important day in a couple's life. Having a professional photographer helps greatly to achieve this mission.
A great photograph should never mean how many likes it receives on social media, but the ability for that photograph to take you back to that moment, frozen in time, for you to relive that moment.
What is your style of Wedding Photography?
Our style is probably more documentary in a sense because we are committed to being there from start to end to capture everything in-between, the good, the bad and the funny. Our goal for our photographs is for people to feel connected again.
What tips would you give to engaged couples when looking for a location to shoot their Wedding Photos?
When looking for a location for a photo shoot on your wedding day, the best advice we can give is to go to somewhere that means something to you as a couple.
Going to a popular place versus going to an intimate place is the difference between a good photograph versus a great photograph.
What is your favourite type of locations to shoot at?
Our favourite type of location is probably the ones that we least expect, those in-between moments.
What advice would you give Engaged Couples planning their wedding day?
Look into everything. Talk to as many people as you can. The more you talk to people/vendors, the more you'll realise what is important to you as a couple on your wedding day.
What is your point of difference?
I think our point of difference is us being genuine. We're just real, normal people like our couples. Being able to relate to our couples about life is probably the reason we can capture what is important to our couples.
Why did you choose to capture weddings?
There are a lot of photographers out that in the world, most people capture weddings because it pays the bills. We got into it because we felt this incredible honour and ability to capture/hang out with our couples, their friends and family and that helps our image mean so much more to our couples and their family.
What is your favourite thing about being a Wedding Photographer?
Our favourite thing about being a wedding photographer is that we get to be a part of people's happiest day every weekend. Every time we rock up to a wedding it feels incredibly special.
What was your favourite wedding and why?
One of our favourite weddings was our first giveaway with ABIA which we drove all the way up to Sunshine Coast, it was a 2 week road trip, all the way up to Maleny Manor with Sam and Kristy.
It was really special for us as we've been waiting to give back to the industry that looked after us for a while, and we get to partner with ABIA to make this magical wedding happen!
