Abbey of the Roses is a truly unique and charming castle wedding reception venue in a beautiful country setting where you can enjoy a Stress-Free Wedding with ceremony, photos, reception, accommodation plus breakfast all at the one wedding venue.

We will arrange as much or as little as you want at this vintage-style wedding reception venue.

The Abbey boasts a Chapel, Gazebo and Gardens for outdoor ceremonies with exclusive use of your area during the reception.

We offer well-priced packages fitting most styles and budgets, with Elopement and Pop-up Weddings for 2 to Vintage weddings for 120, and with great mid-week savings.

Accommodation

We are so confident you will fall in love with this vintage wedding venue that we offer engaged couples a free night to get the 'Abbey experience' for themselves.

Stay with us and make an appointment to discuss your plans, and if you book your wedding reception within a month of your stay with a minimum of 40 guests, your night’s accommodation will be credited off your package invoice.

Located just 2 hrs from Brisbane and 1 hr from Toowoomba, whilst she is ‘destination wedding venue’ it is still close enough to Brisbane that you and your guests can drive and don’t have to fly to this fairy tale destination wedding venue in QLD.

Reception Pptions

We offer the Private Vestry dining room for 2 guests to celebrate a romantic elopement.

Private Parlour dining room for 4 to 10 guests to cater for the small intimate occasion.

Long Room for gala events with twinkling chandeliers and exclusive outdoor area just for you and up to 110 guests.

Table & catering options – banquet style, share plates and more

No two weddings are ever the same, so the Abbey caters for what the couple wants – banquet, buffet, canape and high tea wedding receptions are all options.

Ceremony locations - 5 options.

You have a choice of 5 ceremony options at the Abbey; two gazebos on the grounds, private arbour, front of the house or inside Chapel and wet weather backup is always available as we only cater for one wedding at a time.

Whichever option you don’t choose for your ceremony, you can still take advantage of it when having your wedding photos on the grounds.
