A Classic Adelaide Wedding with Bollinger!

Catey & Mark celebrated their Adelaide Wedding in an intimate soirée with elements of a class, elegance and our favourite champagne - Bollinger!

To achieve the brief of a stylish yet graceful wedding, the couple approached Emma Watts, the owner of Sparrow Weddings & Events to ensure their vision came to fruition.

With a gorgeous Victorian-era mansion as a backdrop, located on a leafy street in one of Adelaide's oldest suburbs, this wedding was infused with history and tradition from the first.

The Wedding Planning

When Catey first met with Sparrow Weddings & Events, they discussed the colour theme, and their mutual love of fairy lights, flowers, greenery, lace, and simplicity.

A little further into the design process, they decided on neutral colours, such as white, ivory & cream with a touch of blush pink, which suited both the venue and Catey's own personal style. In line with the sophisticated style with the love of a lace, Catey chose a beautiful long-sleeved Grace Loves Lace Wedding Dress.

The Wedding Reception

Following the church ceremony, the guests were welcomed to the gardens where there was a clear marquee, lined with thousands of fairy lights, urns full of flowers, and a seven-piece band (ABIA Awarded Baker Boys Band) playing jazz and swing music.

Fairy lights in the trees, a hanging floral installation and French provincial furniture for lounging on when your dancing feet got tired completed the picture.

From there, the night was perfect, filled with amazing cocktail food, a breathtaking cake designed by Heidelberg Cakes heartfelt speeches, so much dancing, and free-flowing drinks from the silver pressed-metal bar.

With the utmost succss of their classic Wedding Day, this was a spectacular start to Catey & Mark's married life. We wish them all the very best for their future together.
