SYDNEYS NEWEST DRESS CIRCLE VENUES GROUP OFFERS VENUES TO DISPLACED EVENTS AND DONATES TO RURAL FIRE SERVICE AND AUSTRALIAN RED CROSS

Sydney’s newest hospitality group, The Venues Collection will support the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) and Australian Red Cross as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility response to the summer fire crisis.

The Venues Collection Director, Christopher Drivas said he and fellow Directors, Philip Beauchamp and Jacqueline Worrall wanted to provide practical assistance to people adversely affected by the fires – as well as make a donation to support the important work of the NSW Rural Fire Service and Australian Red Cross.

Christopher Drivas: The Venues Collection Director

“Our staff are currently helping clients of other venues damaged by fires to find alternate locations for events. We wanted to do more than this – so we have decided to donate half of the food and beverage costs to the RFS and the Red Cross. This will apply to events that had already been booked at venues across Australia damaged in the fires and that need to be relocated.

“Our staff are currently handling a range of telephone enquiries from people whose events need to be relocated due to the fires. We have been able to offer a range of solutions for alternative venues. But we also want to help contribute to resourcing one of the most important agencies currently working on front line response.

“It’s hard to know how best to direct our assistance but after consulting the staff we believe that donating to the RFS and the Red Cross are currently our most practical options.” he said.

The majority of calls at present are from couples whose wedding plans have been abruptly changed. We are also able to assist corporate meeting and incentive planners who have confirmed bookings at damaged or destroyed venues around the country.

The Venues Collection headquarters is located at Barangaroo Tower One, Sydney. The company operates Campbell’s Stores and 12 Micron as well as Athol Hall and Orso located in Mosman, Cropley House located in Baulkham Hills and Harrington Grove Venue and Harringtons Bar + Grill located in Harrington Park.

All venues are within the Sydney and greater Sydney.
