Headed by Cassie Visser, Main Event Weddings provide bespoke & custom wedding styling, alongside wedding planning & coordination services to accommodate all styles of weddings.

"We feel that now, more than ever before, people are free to express love however their hearts desire. What's your role at weddings and what makes you different?

"At Main Event Weddings, we understand that every couple has different needs when it comes to planning their big day. What makes us different is our ability to offer our clients complete flexibility without compromising on the quality of our service or the products in use. From our most basic styling packages to our most extravagant beginning-to-end coordinated events, every couple is guaranteed a wedding that is unique, luxurious and, above all else, absolutely stunning."

What's their advice to couples planning a wedding?

Open minds and open hearts! There's no denying that planning a wedding can get stressful at times and things might not go exactly to plan. And that's totally ok! Owner Cassie Visser, says that "their job as wedding professionals is to guide our couples through the rough patches, so trusting the process and knowing that everything will work out beautifully in the end is key (and will definitely save your complexion leading up to all the wedding photos!)."

What was your favourite wedding?

"This is like asking us to choose a favourite child! It's impossible to pick a favourite, as all of our weddings are so unique and each of our staff members will tell you a different answer! Over the past year alone we have been lucky to style some incredible celebrations. A few that spring to mind immediately would be Shane and Mitchell at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Mergie and Kerrod at The Warehouse or Mark and Brielle at Gabbinbar Homestead."

How do the seasons, or the time of year, influence wedding styling?

To a certain degree, each wedding is influenced by the date it takes place!

Of course, you will see changes in terms of what floral comes into season, what colours are used or the types of accessories our brides don (we love our fluffy winter woollies and some occasional sparkly leather jackets!).

For us, this just adds to the joy of crafting each wedding to suit the tastes of our individual couples. Often there is a specific reason why they have selected to have their wedding at this time, so being able to add this level of meaning to their day makes it even more special.
