Jacqueline Dee Celebrant

Jacqueline Dee is an Authorised Marriage Celebrant based in the Northern Illawarra township of Helensburgh where she has lived since 1998. Registered since June 2017, in January 2020 Jacqueline went from part time to full-time Celebrant after retiring from a sixteen-year career in Sydney as a Senior Family and Relationship Counsellor.

Diverse in her skill set with a background in event management also, Jacqueline began song writing in 1997 after years of playing with other artists and has written and released three of her own independent albums. Jacqueline's diverse life experiences both personally and professionally come together beautifully in her work as a Celebrant; a role she describes as a 'privilege' not a 'job'.

Being located midway between Sydney and Wollongong, Jacqueline says this affords her the 'best of both worlds'.

Married to husband Mark for 30 years, Jacqueline believes that marriage can provide a secure foundation, a firm base, for a relationship to flourish and for individuals within that partnership to grow in extraordinary ways.

Jacqueline received a Highly Commended Award in the 2020 Brides Choice Awards and was nominated for the prestigious Australian Bridal Industry Awards in 2023, placing 10th out of 9000 Celebrants.

Jacqueline describes her Celebrant role as a constant source of joy and believes she has truly found her calling in life.
