Why am I a Celebrant? Because I believe deeply in love and commitment. Standing with two people as they promise their lives to each other, surrounded by those they love, is an incredible feeling. Every ceremony still fills my heart to bursting, honestly.

As an empath, I'm closely tuned into how you're feeling on the day. I notice the nerves, the joy, and the emotion, and I'm there to support you through it all. A bride once sent me a photo from before the ceremony, where I was facing the groom with my hand on his shoulder, 'David told me,' she wrote, 'that this was the moment where a few calm words and sincere eye contact from you completely settled his nerves.' Moments like that mean everything.

I believe ceremonies should be full of love and laughter. If there are happy tears and real laughs, I know I've done my job well. My aim is to create a ceremony that's memorable not just for you, but for everyone there. My style is relaxed and fun, but I'll shape your ceremony exactly how you want it: joyful and energetic, or low-key and intimate. I'm naturally enthusiastic (my spirit animal is a Great Dane puppy), but don't worry, the puppy stays home on your wedding day.

I offer four ceremony packages, from Legals Only to a fully Personalised Ceremony created from your love story. I'm also available as MC for your reception, so your loved ones can relax and celebrate instead of working the room.
