Greyleigh​ Kiama

Originally established as a dairy farm in the 1800's, Greyleigh has since been restored into a luxurious accommodation and events venue, just an hour and a half drive from the Sydney CBD. Our gardens, trees and structures have been here since original tenure, creating a magic that is as rare as it is spectacular. As you move through the property you will find citrus trees, herb gardens, century old silos and heritage stone walls, wildlife and farm animals.

Greyleigh hosts up to 250 guests in a collection of outdoor and indoor event spaces. Whether it be for cocktail parties or long table shared dinners, Greyleigh is the perfect location for your wedding celebrations.

Our packages include onsite accommodation with exclusive use of the whole property, cocktail hour & reception furniture, crockery, cutlery & glassware, and the services of a dedicated wedding planner to guide you through the planning process. From January 2025 Greyleigh will also offer full food and beverage services.

Beneath the terracotta tones of heritage corrugated iron, Greyleigh's luxury farmhouse style accommodation is a delightful blend of eclectic and grand with centuries of authentic Australian heritage. The Homestead and Guest House sleeps up to 18 guests, the perfect place to host your bridal party or closest friends and relatives.

Feel completely secluded in the enchanted gardens, enjoy refreshments by The Pool Cabana, indulge in a massage in The Spa and make wholesome pizzas in the outdoor wood fired oven. Relax and embrace every moment of your wedding festivities. Everything you need is here at Greyleigh.

THE SECRET GARDEN

The Secret Garden offers an enchanting place to hold your ceremony. With a winding path and aisle formed by trees, this natural amphitheatre dramatically reveals sweeping views of the rolling hills out to the sea.

It is an idyllic backdrop for wedding ceremonies, hosting up to 150 guests with specialised ambient garden lighting, power and easy access.

THE GABLES

The Gables, originally a dairy shed established in the 1800's has since been re-purposed into a decadent indoor event space. With floor to ceiling glass windows dramatically framing an ancient fig tree, textured and recycled timber walls and high ceilings, there is no place quite like it.

The historic concrete silos have been transformed into modern cocktail lounge areas with a fireplace and finished with lunar sky lights. This unique event space hosts up to 200 guests and can be transformed into the wedding of your dreams. With a brand-new caterer's kitchen, dance floor, fitted bar, fireplaces and indoor guest restrooms. The Gables offers endless possibilities for an unforgettable celebration.

THE LAWN

A picturesque place for a ceremony, post ceremony cocktails or a marquee reception, with an uninterrupted outlook of Kiama's beaches, the rolling green hills of Jamberoo and Illawarra escarpment.

In the grand presence of a 120 year old fig tree and Norfolk Pines, this beautiful space is ideal for marquee wedding receptions of up to 250 guests.

THE ORCHARD

Invite your loved ones for an intimate or long table dinner in a blossoming setting. In The Orchard you will be surrounded by lush trees, a large variety

of citrus, a mango & mulberry tree, apples, peaches, figs, quince, olive and nut trees that have been on the property for over 100 years.

Drape ambient festoon lighting through the trees to create a ceiling of magical lights for a decadent evening under the stars.

THE GAZEBO

A charming outdoor space for a ceremony, post ceremony refreshments or an intimate reception. The Gazebo has a crisp white structure with quaint detailing, surrounded by lush gardens and a beautiful cape chestnut tree that blooms in pale pink flowers.

THE COURTYARD

Immerse yourself in the romantic atmosphere of The Courtyard where the afternoon glow glistens, and the sun sets over Saddleback Mountain. The perfect location for Pre-Ceremony drinks or cocktails and canaps. Slow dance under the stars and the stunning festoon lighting as you savour your first dance as a married couple.

THE SPA

A calming space to spend the morning getting your hair and make-up done with your bridal party. Indulge in an in-house massage the day before, in this sweet space surrounded by lush hinterland. Beautifully designed with chalky-textural walls and elevated furnishing The Spa makes for stunning preparation pictures.
