Firstly, if what brings you to ABIA Weddings is that you are newly engaged to be married, or even long-time engaged ~ CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I am an authorised civil marriage celebrant located on the beautiful Capricorn Coast in Yeppoon, Central Queensland, but willing and able to travel Australia wide to ensure your wedding is all that you are dreaming of.
Marriage is such a special, important and significant life-changing event. The beginning of family and a life-long commitment to love, laughter, and happily ever after, and the many wonderful (and at times challenging) adventures in between.
Whether couples desire their ceremony to be traditional or contemporary, casual and fun, in a chapel or a garden, rain-forest or at the beach. I work with couples to plan their dream weddings and provide them support through the whole legal process. If couples need help to find the right words for their personal vows, or ideas for music, poems and readings, I can help with those elements too.
It is such a joy and an honour to meet with couples at the beginning of their journey and work with them through to conducting their wedding ceremony on their special chosen day. I take pride in creating ceremonies that are meaningful and unique to couples and to who they are as individuals, and in creating wonderful memories that will live on forever.

Starting From $450 Serena is an Australian Authorised Civil Celebrant and qualified Justice of the Peace (JP Qual.) located in Yeppoon, Central Queensland, who became partnered with ABIA at end March, 2022. Serena provides wedding ceremony planning services, and is registered under law for the witnessing and registration of marriage ceremonies Australia wide.
Serena holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), and a Masters of Teaching (Primary), and has worked in many different positions including business administration, early and primary education/learning management, and post graduate medical education.
Serena takes pride in creating ceremonies that are meaningful and unique to couples and to who they are as individuals, and in creating wonderful memories that will live on forever.
