Whether it be rustic, boho or black-tie, a wedding ceremony at historic Woodburn Homestead is bound to be one of style. Most couples opt for a ceremony within the sandstone Open-Air Chapel — with its authentically-restored stonework and limestone crush floor — but the Homestead also hosts wedding ceremonies on its lawns, in the newly-completed Melrose's Garden — a large garden setting with stone walls and black wrought-iron gates — and indoors in The Stables.
With 42 acres of rolling paddocks, old stone cottages, a 160-year-old Morton Bay Fig, hay bales, a windmill and cacti on the driveway, the Homestead provides an assortment of photographic backdrops and can cater for the complete wedding experience, with award-winning onsite cocktail and reception catering, and pre- and post-wedding accommodation, for up to 11, in the 1864 Homestead.
