Tell us how you met each other!

We met in school and started dating at the end of grade 11.

How was the question popped?

At our first home. A hallway filled with roses, candle lights and balloons with messages and photos hanging off them. The messages lead me to Andrew, each stating all the things he loves about me, it was so perfect. He was waiting in the lounge room with champagne, strawberries and a personalised dressing gown. All filmed by my sister and photos taken by my sister in-law, which was amazingly planned.

Tell us about your wedding planning.

We looked at so many wedding venues before finding the perfect one for us. We always wanted a wedding with all of our family and friends in attendance. We had so many people say it was so much money to spend on one day but just knew we wanted our special day and we don't regret anything about it now.

We were due to get married earlier, however due to Covid it was pushed back and in the meantime we fell pregnant with our first baby, Archie. Our day finally came and it was even more special, having our 4 month old son there with us.

A must for us was a photographer and videographer, we are so grateful for ours, a husband and wife duo. They have allowed us to relive our special day all over again, whenever we want to.

What were your favourite details of the wedding?

Our ceremony spot was just perfect, the main reason we chose the venue that we did. We wanted our ceremony, photos and reception all at the one venue, for convenience for us and our guests and to make the most out of the time that we had because it just goes so fast.

We loved the idea of a golf course as our venue because of how green they always are at all times of the year, we also loved the idea of having fun on golf buggies during bridal photos of course. We prayed for good weather and we were so blessed to have gotten it with the most amazing sunset as well.

What was most important to you both on your wedding day?

Enjoying every moment, not stressing and getting all the photos we wanted, so we were able to look back and be reminded of just how perfect the day was.

Who were your favourite wedding vendors and why?

Casey Jane Photography and her husband Alexei - the most amazing, experienced photographer and videographer, will be forever grateful for them capturing our special day.

Matt (Mr Entertainment) was the most perfect entertainment for us and our guests. We had Matt doing music for our ceremony, canapés and reception and everything ran very smoothly.

Gwen Inglis was our celebrant, the loveliest lady you could ask for. Very experienced and made the process so super stress free.
