Real Wedding in Moama ~ Lucy & David

The beautiful couple Lucy & David had originally planned on a large wedding, however with the impact of COVID-19, this proved to be a bit of a challenge. Instead, they chose to have the most beautifully intimate wedding celebration on the Murray River. Another little spanner in the works, were the record temperatures of 46 degrees, needless to say, it was next-level hot! So, they had to move most elements of the wedding day inside, and opt for family photos to be taken before the ceremony, that way Freddy, their adorable 9 month old baby was able to be part of the photos too!

When reflecting back on our intimate November 2020 wedding we still smile from ear to ear.

The Proposal

The Wedding Destination

Moama is such a beautiful place to consider getting married. Its right on the Murray River and there are some stunning accommodation options on the water.

Lucy & David rented a huge house right on the river that the majority of the people attending their wedding could stay at. Junction (the wedding venue) was a faultless location for their ceremony and reception. They have a beautiful outdoor garden and birdcage area and their private dining was ideal for their intimate guests of 25 people. "We couldnt fault their food and service".

The Wedding Day

"It really was the best day of our lives. David and I had originally planned a much larger event, but COVID19 was making it extremely difficult to plan and we eventually gave up on the idea. Though some months on, and all the stars aligning at once (borders opening the week of!), we were able to get married with our immediate family and a small number of friends in attendance in Moama on the Murray River in New South Wales."

"We held our ceremony and reception in a private dining area at Junction Moama, which was absolutely perfect. Everyone in attendance stayed for a long weekend and a much overdue catch up after a year of lockdowns and border closures. Anyone who is considering having an intimate wedding we could not recommend it enough! Zero stress and quality time made for the most incredible weekend as a new family."
