Its 10 acres of picturesque vineyards and stunning grounds are just the beginning of the elegant offerings available to couples marrying at Gippsland’s Brandy Creek Estate, according to function coordinator Skye Failla.
“The Estate offers some of the most breathtaking sunset photo opportunities in Gippsland,” she points out.
Having hosted weddings for three decades, it stands to reason that Brandy Creek Estate has mastered the art of wedding celebrations.
So, ABIA sat down with Skye to learn more about the venue’s varied ceremony spaces, wedding packages, customisable menus and onsite day spa.

Tell us about your wedding venue and services.
Nestled in the heart of Gippsland, Brandy Creek Estate boasts stunning valley views and 10 acres of lush vineyards, offering picturesque backdrops for memorable wedding days — from intimate elopements to grand celebrations of up to 200 guests — overseen by our dedicated wedding coordinator in any of our unique ceremony and reception spaces.
As a one-stop wedding destination, we’ve built strong relationships with top vendors and suppliers across the region to help making wedding planning seamless and convenient, our skilled chefs serve a modern interpretation of Iberian and Spanish cuisine, perfectly paired with wines crafted from our own vines. Additionally, we offer a day spa onsite and our family-friendly venue incorporates thoughtful touches, like children’s activity tables, on request.
How long have you been hosting weddings, and how many do you host a year?
Brandy Creek Estate has proudly been part of the wedding industry for more than 30 years. The original owners made a lasting impact in Gippsland, establishing the estate as a beloved wedding venue and the current owner has built on that legacy by revitalising the property — preserving its original charm while enhancing its beauty and appeal. We host around 25 to 30 weddings a year and pride ourselves on offering a venue that delivers both elegance and a sense of home.

What styles of weddings can you accommodate, and for what event sizes?
We cater to a wide range of wedding styles and sizes. No vision is too big, and no detail is too small — we work closely with each of our couples to bring their dream wedding to life, within reason and with great care.
Recently, we had the honour of hosting a 150-guest Indian wedding, complete with custom-themed décor and traditional cuisine. We’ve also proudly celebrated numerous same-sex weddings, embracing love in all its forms. Whether planning an intimate elopement, a micro wedding, a gathering of 50 guests or a grand celebration for up to 200, we’re here to help make it happen. At Brandy Creek Estate, we listen, adapt and tailor each experience to reflect each couple's unique story and style.
What wedding packages do you offer?
We offer a range of thoughtfully-designed wedding packages to suit every style and celebration size, from our Paella Package, which caters to couples seeking a more casual dining experience, through to our Cocktail Package, with canapés, and more traditional Three-Course Package, which includes chef-prepared entrée, main and dessert served while guests are seated.
We also offer an Elopement Package for intimate ceremonies and gatherings and happily tailor packages to suit a couple’s unique needs and vision.
All packages include access to our stunning venue spaces, exclusive use of our property for the celebration, setup and pack-down support, a dedicated wedding coordinator and access to our trusted network of local vendors.

What wedding ceremony spaces do you have available?
We offer several beautiful ceremony location options. Couples can exchange vows beneath our elegant gazebo on the terrace, overlooking the vineyard for a truly picturesque setting or on a lush, grassy area nestled between two majestic gum trees — a perfect open-air ceremony.
Is there a wet-weather option for outdoor ceremonies?
Yes! We always have a stunning indoor option ready if the weather turns. Whether it's our beautiful dining room or another designated space, we can ensure each ceremony goes ahead regardless of the weather, and without compromising on atmosphere.

What advice do you have for couples looking for a wedding venue?
Before booking a venue, it’s important for couples to be firm on their wedding plans and budget, and comfortable with the venue manager and coordinator. It’s also wise to be clear on booking and cancellation policies, event logistics, inclusions, facilities, equipment, support, catering and accessibility arrangements, so I suggest asking plenty of questions to establish expectations and ensure they and their guests, including those with allergies or specific needs, will be well taken care of.
How far in advance should couples book?
Some couples choose to book as early as two years ahead, while others secure their date just six months out but, ideally, we recommend couples book their wedding at least 12 months in advance to secure their preferred date with us. We understand that life can be unpredictable though, so offer one complimentary date change for added flexibility.

How can couples add their own flair?
At Brandy Creek Estate, we warmly encourage each couple to add their own personal touches to make their wedding truly unique, and have partnered with a range of reputable vendors to help them achieve their vision.
Over the years we’ve welcomed signature cocktails, dhol drummers, live painters, belly dancers and many other distinctive elements that have added flair and creativity to a couple’s wedding day.
Can couples customise menus, or include specific cultural dishes?
Definitely! Our chefs love working with couples to create a personalised menu, and have prepared everything from a fully-customised Indian menu, through to signature canapés, like tacos, and dietary-specific dishes. We happily tailor food to suit specific occasions, or to accommodate guest needs or dietary considerations.
What photographic opportunities are available at the venue?
Brandy Creek Estate offers some of the most breathtaking sunset photo opportunities in Gippsland. Our picturesque driveway faces directly into the setting sun, creating a dreamy, sun-kissed backdrop that’s perfect for capturing unforgettable wedding moments.
Set across 10 acres of beautifully maintained vineyards, the Estate also features charming bird baths, lush vines and even horses — providing couples with a variety of wedding photo settings and backdrops.

Do you offer onsite accommodation and preparation spaces?
While we don’t offer onsite accommodation, we’ve partnered with nearby accommodation providers, which offer exclusive discounts to couples celebrating a wedding with us.
We also have an onsite day spa, which can be hired exclusively for on-the-day pampering, wedding preparations or hen’s day celebrations.
What’s been one of the most memorable weddings you’ve hosted recently?
January brought us the joy of hosting a beautiful multicultural wedding for an Indian-Polish couple.
The groom collaborated closely with our chefs to design an authentic Indian menu, featuring beloved family favourites that delighted their guests. The vibrant beats of a dhol drummer welcomed guests and, as a heartfelt surprise, the groom and his family choreographed a traditional Indian dance to perform for his new Polish bride.
It was a fully custom-designed celebration, and it was such a privilege to take the couple’s vision and turn it into reality — exactly as they had imagined.
